How can Residents get involved in creating the new secondary school?

The Parent Promoters are keen to involve local residents in the creation of the new secondary school at Elmcourt Road.

The residents in surrounding streets have now set up a Residents' Forum to consider all aspects of the new school. This forum has elected two resident as community temporary governors for the new school.

In April 2005 the Promoters sent purple consultation leaflets to 12,500 residents in a half mile radius of the proposed school.

On June 7 2005 they placed a public notice in the South London Press.

Since September they have regularly leafleted 900 residents in surrounding streets and have monthly meetings with the Residents' Forum Chairs. There is a notice board for the Residents' Forum and Parent Promoters on the Elmcourt Road side of the site.
